Lech Zürs - Fun for skiers and luxury for the upper class
Lech Zürs is well-known in the upper class society of the world. Besides rich people from Central Europe more and more visitors tend to come from Eastern Europe
and Russia. When walking around in the village everyone will realize quickly that this is the place to be for people with money in winter times. There are lots
of boutiques and fancy shops situated directly in the heart of the village. It is very common that women with fur coat are just about to get off the horse-drawn
sleigh when you are making your way to the base station in your skiing boots. But there is a lot more about this ski resort than shops. Lech Zürs is definitely
a world class ski resort with a huge choice of activities for a lot of skill levels.
Another huge advantage is that Lech and Zürs are connected by bus with St Anton. That's why you can ski a total of 280km of slopes which cater to all skill levels.
Beginners and advanced skiers are adviced to visit Lech for skiing but really good skiers and snowboarders should definitely make their way to St Anton. The ski routes
and off piste possibilities are a lot better there. But there is a sign-posted way through the ski resort called "Ski Runde Weisser Ring" in Lech. By following this path
you can ski more than 22km of slopes and an altitude of 5500 meters.
