The swiss resort with the slogan: Adelboden Lenk - dänk
The slogan "Adelboden Lenk - dänk" is for most english and german speaking people not very understandable. Nevertheless the slogan should promote
two mountain villages: Adelboden and Lenk. These are the home of one of the most beautiful ski resorts of the nort-western Alps. 57 lift facilities and
180km of slopes make sure that this ski area is one of the biggest in Switzerland. But these runs are not connected and separated into four subareas:
Frutigen-Elsigen-Metsch, Engstligenalp, Adelboden-Lenk/Tschenenalp and Betelberg-Lenk. A skiing bus connects the subareas but it takes a lot of time
anyway to switch from one to another area during the day.
Besides the fact that there are more than 30 tow lifts in Adelboden-Lenk the ski resort is one of the most modern in Switzerland. Instead of old big
gondolas Adelboden has build a lot of new chairlifts. Because of the fact that the resort is situated from 1000m to 2400m the off-piste possibilities
are not that big as in other Swiss ski resorts (e.g. Disentis) but skiers who want to stay on the slopes will be truly satisfied. They will find perfectly
groomed runs all over the resort!
